

B.SC. PSYCHOLOGY
B.Sc. Psychology or Bachelor of Science in Psychology is an undergraduate Psychology course. Psychology is the study of the mind, occurring partly via the study of behaviour and mental functions. The B.Sc. (Psychology) degree course involves study of mind processes, motives, reactions, feelings, conØict resolution, crisis management, groupthink, motivation and nature of mind. The duration of B.Sc. Psychology is three years and the syllabus for the course is divided in six semesters. The course is an important and career originating in nature that provides many job opportunities to the candidates after its completion. The basic eligibility criteria for pursuing B.Sc. (Psychology) degree is qualifying 10+2 or equivalent examination in any stream. Some reputed colleges and institutes demand a minimum of 50% marks in 10+2 as qualifying criteria to secure admission in this degree course. Selection to the degree course in these colleges is based on marks secured in the ×nal merit i.e. total marks aggregated in the ×nal exams of 10+2 and the entrance exam.
